ABOUT 
Ariana Sajnani is Eurasian, possessing a mixed Asian (Indian) and European
(Greek) ancestry. She was born in New York and moved to Los Angeles when she was 16 years old.


She recently had the lead role in the Bollywood film, "Sir Madam Sarpanch" written and directed by Award winning filmmaker, Praveen Morchhale. This film was also produced under Ariana's production house, "SunCal Productions International."

Ariana received her Masters from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in New York and graduated with a B.A in Theater from Cal State University Northridge in California. 

Ariana is also a graduate of Subhash Ghai’s renowned film institute “Whistling
Woods International Limited
” (WWI) located in Mumbai, India.  For two years,
Ariana obtained a panoramic view of the Indian film industry as she studied with internationally renowned film makers, actors, and directors. It was here that Ariana was exposed to different aspects of film making such as directing,
producing, editing, cinematography and script writing. In addition, it was
during this same time she became introduced to the Method Acting technique.

After receiving her film diploma in India, Ariana returned to Los Angeles where, in addition to working full-time as a waitress, she immersed herself into theater plays and short films. She continued her training in singing (Soprano), improvisation (The Groundlings, LA) and dance. She also co-produced and had a guest star role in the web series "Stardumb". Furthermore she performed in Narumi Nakayama’s short film titled "Peter Pan Factory”. The film is presently in final production as an entrant in the Los Angeles Film Festival.


In theater Ariana has had many lead roles in various productions including
“JUAREZ: A MEXICAN DOCUDRAMA” (nominated for the Kennedy Center for Arts competition), “THE ODD COUPLE”, “THE CRUCIBLE”, “THE MUSIC MAN” and supporting roles in “ORDINARY PEOPLE”, “TAMING OF THE SHREW”, “ANYTHING GOES” and  “SIX CHARACTERS”.

Ariana’s desire to further her knowledge of Constantin Stanislavski’s “system”
methodology prompted her to apply to the Actor’s Studio Drama School (ASDS) at Pace University in New York where she completed her three year MFA degree. Through intense training, this rigorous three year program encouraged deep and detailed personal work as actors learned to perfect their ‘instrument’. In addition, students also gained an understanding of the business aspects of their profession. 


Ariana was cast in and finished shooting a supporting role for the Bollywood feature film, "Welcome to New York", which released in theaters worldwide on Friday February 23rd, 2018. 

Ariana recently completed a Hindi Indie feature film as the lead which is presently being submitted to Global Film festivals (2022). In this film, which was completely in Hindi, she acted alongside a few well known Bollywood actors.

Ariana is a member of SAG/AFTRA, AEA and a member of the Indo American Council.  In addition, she is  an active member of the New York Indian Film Festival. A full listing and credits of Ariana’s multi-faceted skills are in her resume.
